What could be worse than this???

I'm now up to my scalp in notes to study and prelim papers to complete!!! Not much progress i must say!! This just wont do... As if i'm not in a shitty state enough...

I LOST MY PHONE YESTERDAY!!!!!

And i had that phone for less than a month!!! I dont even know how it went missing!! As in seriously! I mean at times when i leave something behind, i'll feel that sth is amiss but not this time!!I'm quite sure it was in my bag :( I'm pretty confident that someone has stolen it!! @#^%&(*#*)(*$ Stupid fellow!! Now all my contacts are gone and i can hardly remember anyone's number!! Plus i'm lacking a spare phone! :(

This just ain't fair!! They say good begets good BUT me, a girl who always return what i find to others, lost her beloved phone!!! Whatever happened to the good old "honesty" and "integrity"? Where did you two go??

Sigh, i guess it's just my luck :( I just hope whoever took it will delete all my private stuff inside :(

Hey peeps! omg, prelims is less than 2 months away!!!!! OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD!!!! argh!! i think i am going mad soon!

Oh ya, i'm still alive!! Nessa's driving was superb! for someone who just got her license for mere days, she dared to venture on the expressway!! And she seriously know her way around extremely well... I'm sooo proud of her! Damn all the stereotypes bout girls being bad drivers, blah blah blah~!! Nessa's only 18 and passed her test on the first attempt! :D She's also super steady on the road! hahahs, this is turning into some sort of propaganda~ :P

Anyway, this is just a "warning" to tell yall that my blog is going to take a very LOOONG break cos A's is freaking near and i'm freaking stressed!! So wont have time to update my blog cos i'm gonna convert myself into a mugger n mug my eyeballs out for the next 3 months or so....

Blog will most probably be revived after Dec 3rd, after my last paper! :P Might still blog bout some random boring stuff during these 3 months but there'll definitely be nth exciting, i'll most prob just whine and complain about studies, studies and more studies~ :P

Tribute to my idol~

Hey peeps, today marks the end of CT2 (Common tests 2) but yet, i don feel the sense of relief that i thought i would. Perhaps due to the fact that i could have done much better :( For the past 5 days, I've only had a TOTAL of 15 hours of sleep (approximately 2.5 to 3 hrs of sleep per day). This explains the reason why my head was either throbbing or i was literally nodding off in the midst of doing the papers. Sigh, but i only have myself to blame for procrastinating during the June hols and being utterly unproductive.

Okay, enough of the mundane academic stuff. I know this is a little late but well, better late than never.

25.06.09 : The death of my idol, a legendary character, shocked the world--including me.



While many choose to talk about his bizarre appearance and behaviour during his later years, i prefer to remember my idol at the peak of his career.
Ever so often when i tell others "Michael Jackson is my idol", the replies i get are negative. Some would laugh at me, while others just replied "Are you serious?" with every single word coated with genuine disbelief. And i would reply with a defensive "Ya! I like him!!".

I mean, i know that he doesn't deserve a good conduct medal for what he'd done over the past decade. But hey, who doesn't make mistakes? Besides, deep down, i think that his "pedophilic behaviour" is actually just deep love for children, the kind of love that he'd never gotten from his Dad since he was a young child.



We all know that he didn't exactly have a comfortable childhood. In fact, contrary to that, he was often abused by his Dad. Perhaps he just doesn't want other children to experience the painful childhood he had gone through. Maybe he didn't exactly use the right methods to express his affections, but i strongly believe that his intentions were never bad.

In fact, his hatred for his father was so deep that his will mentioned nothing bout his Dad AT ALL.



I've loved him since young, often watching his Album (VCD) time and again and NEVER, not once, gotten sick of it--even till this very day. He was the first artist that i know of ever since i could remember. His sleek moon walk, famous 45 degree standing and uniquely gentle voice made him stand out from the crowd. His overwhelming charisma never fails to captivate the hearts of the audience--regardless of gender and age. His stage presence is simply...unbeatable.



And he, as a musician, an entertainer or a human, is incredibly lovable.
As a musician, he devoted his life to music. He became the first African American to make it this big, paving the way for subsequent African American artistes. Without him, perhaps the Usher,Jamie Fox and Chris Brown that we all know wouldn't even exist.
As an entertainer, he brought the best to the crowd. The combination of dance, music, energy and Charisma is almost flawless. He entertained like no other artistes. Never once disappointing a member of the audience.
As a human, he reaches out his helping hand to people in need. He had always been always generous, having donated $500,000,000 at one go (yes, that's 8 zeros u r seeing) to charitable organizations, supporting 39 different charity organizations. How can a person with a heart of gold ever want to hurt a child?

I dont know if u agree with what i'm saying but i just hope that ppl out there can remember him in his most glorious days. The one who collected Guinness World Records like stamps, who top the billboard repetitively, who made POP music known to the world.

My blog is not dead!

Hi peeps! My blog is not dead k! It's just that my house's internet connection is dead. No idea when it will be revived >.< Using maine's laptop to write a short post now to just inform yall that i'm still existing :P

Anyway, was bored just now so decided to act emo and typed the following in maine's com:

LAZY~~

OMG, i'm feeling really lazy to blog...oh, i slept at 8.30pm yesterday n woke up at 9 a.m today! Slept for close to 13 hrs!! I think i must have been reincarnated from a pig or sth, cos not only do i behave like one, i look like one too! :P

Anyway, just wanna thank those who wished me happy birthday, got me gifts, treated me to some form of meal or entertainment etc etc... I have loads of pics but thinking of the tedious process of posting the pics is enough to make me dizzy :P so i guess i'll just wait for another day :)

Oh, anyway, this is so totally random but after visiting the doctor the other day, i decided that I WANT TO MARRY A DOCTOR!!! hahahs, n u know wat's the reason?? Cos they have really gentle hands!! As in, they are big n built male doctors but when they place their hands/fingers on u (when necessary and not inappropriately!), they're soooo gentle!! Weird reason to wanna marry a doctor just for that right?? I dunno why also, maybe i just like buff ppl who're gentle??? Okay, i think i'm not making much sense (as usual) and sounding kind of sick(in the mind i mean)...so i shall stop here :)

kk, gtg study alr, A's is just round the corner and i'm soooo unprepared!! *gulps*

Hey peeps, been 2 weeks since i last blogged :P been pretty busy with i-dunno-wat actually...i don seem to have any free time for some reason, said i'm busy with sch work but haven had much progress with it :(

Anyway, here are the pictures that i've taken over the past month! (omg, it has been a month since i last posted any pic!!)

9th April: Celebrated Xiu's birthday at Suki sushi!

Tien and me wanted to give her a surprise and pretend as if we didn't know it was her birthday... but the plan failed cos Xiu was too smart!!

We then went to stay at Tien's hse for the night...While Tien conked out at like bout 12 30 a.m, Xiu and me played Wii til 3.30 a.m then we went to bathe, and finally slept for like 3 hours :)


11th April: Celebrated Momo's birthday 5 days in advance
Momo totally didn't expect it cos she thought we were just gonna go for a meal tgt :D

Preparation for her birthday: On 10th april
I was extremely tired cos i only slept for 3 hrs the previous day at Tien's hse...But i still lugged my tired body to shop for momo's present. Bought her a wallet and then went to popular to get materials to make her card :)

Liu was in charge of baking a cake for momo and i was in charge of the card...

Written on it "Hapy Bday Mo!" I think this pic doesn't do the cake justice cos it tasted superb-ly delicious! Liu is seriously an awesome baker!

F.Y.I, the card is the size of a Vanguard sheet (or the size of The Straits Times newspaper) , not a small A4 size paper :D I took freaking 6 hours to make the card k! (from 10 30 pm to 4 30 am!!) I seriously am inefficient, aren't i?
Can u imagine how sleep deprived i was, considering i only slept 3 hrs the previous day and i was still taking pictures of the card at 4 40 am!!
But i'm pleased with the outcome and since it's for Momo, it's really worth the effort! :)

25th April: Steamboat buffet with family
Was actually studying with Fen Wee before i met my family...Asked Fen Wee to have dinner with me and study til later at night but she refused, she said she cant study with me cos she keep wanting to talk to me!! And she said it's my fault that she feels like talking to me -_-" wat kind of reasoning is this lah?! :P So i headed down to meet my family for dinner :)

1st May: A display of my culinary skills
Had the sudden urge to cook for my mum that day as a gift for her for mothers' day cos i really don know wat gift to get her :P

So she invited my aunts and cousins over for a "dry swimming" session and i was the chef for the day!

The 5 dishes that i whipped up! :) i wouldn't say they taste excellent but they are at the very least edible :)


The panda is so adorable isn't it? Kinder joy really brings out the kid in me...Not that i'm not alr childish enough, but well...okay, or should i say it really brings out the toddler in me :P

Hey peeps! Just did a "colourgenics" test that i happened to chance upon on Alyssa's blog....Oh My God, u can't believe how accurate it is! Here are some snippets of my results:

A gift from a thousand miles~~

My god, been ages since i last blogged....been really busy with work that i don't even have time to load all the pics and update yall bout all the birthdays of those special ppl in my life :( Will probably do that on labour day (which is this friday)--i hope. :P

Anyway, i wanna thank those ppl who have encouraged me in one way or another...Be it a message in my tagboard, an sms, verbal words of encouragement, a reassuring pat or just sharing my views and complaining along with me :D Though these are but small little gestures, they are like the gift from a thousand miles (not literally but analogically lah!), it's really the thought that counts :)

(For those who dont know, "a gift from a thousand miles" is actually an ancient story bout this person A who went to visit this person B. Then I guess cos in ancient times there were no vehicles and person A didn't own any travelling agents (in the form of animals), so he had to travel by foot to person B's house. And for some reason, the unfortunate 2 stayed 1000 miles apart.
According to chinese culture, it is a form of politeness to bring a gift when u're visiting. So person A, being very poor, travelled a thousand miles by FOOT to person B house, only to bring a goose feather as a gift.)

Actually, i cant remember did he only bring the goose feather right from the the beginning or was there really an alive and kicking goose that have escaped midway or sth...

OHHH, or maybe, Person A was hungry so decided to just slaughter the goose for dinner!! I mean cummon, it's a 1000 miles leh, surely will get hungry one right?! Hahahs, hmm, the more i think bout it, the more truth i see in my deduction :P The guy was probably just hungry so ate up the poultry, then just go to person B's house and make himself sound noble by saying that he actually travelled a thousand miles to give Person B that precious little goose feather.

Sigh~ poor person B, i guess he never got to know the truth :P
